Over the past 11 years, my professional journey with the Com-DEALL program has been
nothing short of transformative—both for the children I work with and for my own growth
as a psychologist . As the Director of Creative Minds in Lucknow and a Certified Group Team
Leader for Com-DEALL, I have witnessed firsthand the profound impact that a research-
driven, evidence-based, and holistic approach can have on children with developmental
challenges, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
From the very beginning, Com-DEALL’s intensive intervention model and meticulous
documentation processes caught my attention. Unlike many fragmented approaches, Com-
DEALL offers a comprehensive developmental profile for each child, ensuring that therapy
is targeted, measurable, and adaptable. This methodology has allowed me to not only track
progress with precision but also to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary
team—an element I have come to value deeply.
One of the most striking aspects of Com-DEALL is its commitment to a holistic team
approach. Working alongside occupational therapists, special educators,speech language
pathologist has enriched my practice immeasurably. Each professional brings a unique
perspective, and together we create individualized intervention plans that address the
child’s cognitive, communication, motor, social, and emotional needs. This synergy ensures
that no area of development is overlooked and that the child receives well-rounded support.
Through my association with Com-DEALL, I have also learned the importance of
empowering para-professionals and parents. The program’s Family Mediated Intervention
Program (FMIP) has been a game-changer, especially for families living in smaller towns or
remote areas. By providing structured online training and guidance, FMIP enables parents
to become active facilitators in their child’s development, ensuring that therapeutic
strategies extend beyond the clinic and into the child’s daily environment.
My role as a Certified Group Team Leader has expanded my responsibilities beyond clinical
work. I have had the privilege of conducting training programs in multiple cities, raising
awareness about the Com-DEALL model, and mentoring other professionals. These training
initiatives have not only contributed to the spread of the program but have also fostered a
community of practitioners committed to excellence in intervention for children with ASD
and related conditions.
Com-DEALL’s emphasis on professional training is one of its greatest strengths. Its
structured certification pathways, intensive workshops, and ongoing mentorship ensure
that professionals remain at the forefront of best practices. This commitment to training
aligns perfectly with my own philosophy that professional growth is a continuous process.
Over the years, I have seen how these programs elevate the quality of therapy provided,
ultimately benefiting the children we serve.
The introduction of the Com-DEALL mobile application has further revolutionized the way
professionals and parents access resources. The app offers a comprehensive set of tools,
including developmental checklists, therapy guidelines, data recording features, and
progress monitoring systems. For parents, it serves as a constant source of guidance and
reassurance. For professionals, it streamlines documentation and facilitates the sharing of
information within the team. In many ways, it has bridged the gap between home and
therapy sessions, creating a seamless flow of intervention strategies.
One of the proudest milestones in my journey has been seeing Creative Minds gain
recognition at both national and international levels for its research contributions.
Publishing our work has not only brought visibility to our efforts but has also strengthened
the credibility of the Com-DEALL model. This recognition is a testament to the synergy
between the program’s evidence-based framework and our dedication to quality
intervention.
Reflecting on these 11 years, I can say with conviction that Com-DEALL has shaped my
professional identity. It has provided me with a structured, scientific approach while also
nurturing my passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of children. I see Com-
DEALL not merely as a professional affiliation but as an integral part of my soul’s work.
In Uttar Pradesh, Creative Minds has become a hub for high-quality developmental
intervention, thanks in large part to the foundation laid by Com-DEALL. Parents now seek
out our services not only for therapy but also for guidance, training, and empowerment. The
ripple effect of this model has extended far beyond individual therapy sessions, fostering a
culture of awareness, acceptance, and proactive intervention.
As I look back, I am grateful for the countless children and families whose journeys I have
been privileged to be a part of. Their progress, no matter how small, reinforces the value of
the work we do. Every milestone achieved is a reminder that early, intensive, and well-
coordinated intervention can change the trajectory of a child’s life.
